Licence parameters

Parameters describe what your application receives in addition to DYCRYPT’s core licence claims. Each definition has a claim name, type, required flag, optional default, and help text.

Supported types are STRING, INTEGER, BOOLEAN, DATE, STRING_LIST, and ENUM.

Use the product’s parameter table to review existing definitions. Add parameter opens the entry form; edit an existing row to change that definition.

Choose claims for stable business decisions, such as an edition, feature list, or usage ceiling. Avoid putting secrets or unnecessary personal data in a licence: the application must be able to read its claims.

Changing a product definition affects future issuance. It does not rewrite a licence that has already been signed and delivered.
